Truly a special place dining out in our one month journey to the Western Balkans. It was recommended by a local who worked in one of the iconic cafes in Mostar. Thankyou Mustafa. I felt like a guest in their home, not a numbered tourist as treated in the restaurants along the river. Thankyou so much to the elderly gentleman who took our orders and to the two ladies working there.

We had an amazing time here. Food is excellent and flavourful. There is a daily menu so everything is cooked fresh. We got the cabbage stew and trout and we loved both! We finished off with a baklava which was the cherry on top. The owners are lovely too. Definitely a hidden gem of Mostar.

The food was really good, plus the service was nice, he brings you pictures of the plates same as they are served, so you can know very well your order in advance. Is nice to find a calm place to eat just a few minutes away from the crowded main turistic area. The place looks like a small family business, and the guy attending is very friendly.

This was a local recommendation to me, and man was it good! They serve traditional home-cooked Bosnian food here and it's clear they know what they are doing. I went in the early afternoon for a late lunch/very early dinner and the two ladies working there did not speak much English, but don't let that deter you. I already had an idea of what I wanted to eat based on my own research, but if you aren't sure, they bring out a set of pictures to show you their dishes. I couldn't help myself but to try two different meals and of course I needed to finish it off with baklava and a coffee. Despite our language barriers, the two ladies working here were so friendly and nice. I really enjoyed the food. The prices were great. And the service was exceptional.

I ate amazing japrak there. It was very different than Turkish style but still very good. When I saw old aunties making baklava inside I had to order that too. Baklava is also very different, it is very sweet you must eat slowly. It was great homemade style made it to perfection. Waiter is also helpful and nice guy. Just coffee can be better quality.

BEST PLACE TO EAT! lovely family run restaurant which was recommended to us by a local. The gentleman will bring photos of what is being made on that day, and service was fab. The wine is also really good! Food was incredible and authentic and the free bread was fresh that day. The price was so low we were shocked! Around 30 BAM for all in the photo (Inc two glasses of wine) Also pretty fast if you are looking for a quick lunch. Cannot recommend enough!

I had one of the day dishes, roasted chicken leg which was served on top of potatoes and with a salad, and pomegranate juice. It tasted great and homemade, I did spot a dead tiny fly on the potatoes and removed it, not a big deal as the rest of dish looked fine, it did make me question the hygiene of the place though. pomegranate juice was sweet and nice. Service was slow but I wasn't in a hurry, just annoyed that some late comer were served before me.

Fantastic little spot with home cooked food. The waiter was really kind and spoke English. The area is quiet and peaceful. I really enjoyed my gulash and shopska salad. And they have GREAT bread and some local wine options.
